The Idea

The idea behind this project was to create a single platform where travellers can access all essential flight and travel information in one convenient place.

The Problem

The main challenge is the lack of a centralised source for flight information. Departure times appear on airport boards, airline details live in separate apps, turbulence data is found on external websites, and interesting aircraft information is often overlooked. This creates a fragmented and inconvenient travel experience.

The Solution

I designed an all-in-one flight tracking app that centralises every important aspect of air travel into a single platform. Users can add flights by number or route and receive real-time updates including departure and arrival times, delays, and gate changes. Beyond live tracking, the app enhances the travel experience with detailed aircraft information, turbulence forecasts, airline baggage policies, and useful airport details. It also allows users to review their past flights and view personal travel statistics. To make the experience more connected, users can add friends and track their flights as well. Overall, the app removes the need to switch between multiple apps and websites by bringing all essential and useful travel information into one place.
